i woke up in this perfect silent place. blue sky and very sunny, but because of my sunburn i had to avoid the sun and i was not unhappy as it started to storm in the evening.
this day was a perfect medicine after yesterday’s agony.
After a short night in a tent near Randa ( Zermatt-vally ), i started the day with cereals.
I took the cable-car from St Niklaus to Jungen at about 9.30 am. 3 1/2 h to walk to the top of Augstbordpass was written on the first sign i saw in Jungen. I thought it is going to be an easy day !
But it was 5 pm as i reached the pass ! Beside a few stops for lunch and to photograph the landscape, the heavy backpack, the bike and the stony path made it a long-lasting agony.
nothing became better as i recognized that i forgot suncream at home.
with no force i took the downhill to the first secure place where i could spend the night.
it was about 9.00 pm when i was doddering in my tent and felt asleep for about 12 hours….

with the sound of Ministry on my headphones i rode thru the industry-zone “Schweizerhalle”
to the Z7 in Pratteln.
To ride thru this stigma of mother earth was a good preparation to celebrate Ministry at their concert.
Ministry was great, they played songs from their new album “The last Sucker” and a few older songs.
Unfortunatly we didn’t party enough…..

After about 12 years i revisited Uh. Hradiště. In this small town i spent every year a few weeks in my childhood.To come back here is like watching an old photoalbum.My feeling is very melancholic.
